List of Enemies

After Gairy left Grenada and the New Jewel Movement assumed power, much of the possessions and many of the writings of Eric Matthew Gairy were up for grabs. One significant piece was an alleged "Gairy's List of Enemies". This list was, apparently copied, distributed and finally printed in the 25 March 1979 issue of the 'Torchlight'. The main body of the list was typed. Did Gairy type? Needless to say, read the names on this list with caution, and consider other possibilities how this list was made.

In large hand printing the top of the list reads:
