Incidents of Infringements of Constitutional Rights
Paragraph 28. - IX. Guy Osmond Archibald
28. Guy Osmond Archibald, a large poultry farmer, was suspected by the police of making bombs and of being an anti-Government supporter. During 1973 he suffered losses by theft of some 400 laying hens and 500 broilers. His complaints to the police fell on deaf ears and Inspector Belmar told him that it was no use complaining to the police as no protection would be given to him.
