Paragraph 208. - 5. Compensation for Looting
208. The Government should forthwith set up a Commission of Enquiry, with a Judge or retired Judge as Chairman, to inquire into and ascertain the losses sustained by the owners of various stores, shops and vehicles which were damaged and looted by the police aides and others in the town of St. Georges on January 21, 1974, with the view to payment of compensation by the Government.
